Contest Information
REGISTRATION BADGES AND LANYARDS
The Registration Desk will be located at the Ticket Desk in the INEC times to be confirmed. We would ask that each chorus appoint one person to collect ID badges and lanyards for your chorus/quartet and distribute to your members. Where possible no individual badges will be given out from a chorus batch.
PROGRAMME PRINTING
The Programme will be available to download from the website and to print yourself before setting off for Killarney. This is an endeavour to reduce the need for paper production. We will also have a mobile-friendly version which you can access on your phone over the weekend but not during performances.
FACILITIES
You are advised to book your own rehearsal room preferably in the hotel where the majority of your chorus is staying. This is not the responsibility of the Convention organisers. You must arrive dressed stage-ready to the INEC Lobby. We ask you not to bring massive amounts of personal effects with you. Please follow Stewards’ instructions for collection. It is the responsibility of each quartet and chorus to be at the INEC Lobby 15 minutes prior to your stage time. This is the area just outside the main auditorium. Please note any quartet or chorus arriving late may result in losing their allocated slot.
PERFORMERS’ ACCESS TO AUDITORIUM
You will be directed to the STAGE LEFT SIDE for holding prior to onstage and will be going on from stage left and exiting by stage right and out the side of the auditorium. There are no curtains, performers will file on before being announced.
ENTRANCE TO THE AUDITORIUM DURING COMPETITION AND CONCERTS
As always, competitors will be permitted into the auditorium ONLY with your ID badge between performances. Please follow door stewards’ instructions.
MOBILE PHONES IN AUDITORIUM
Before entering the auditorium switch your phone to silent.
