Route Sixteen
"ROUTE SIXTEEN" was founded in 1985 and is named after highway A16 nearby Dordrecht where we are situated.
Our choir is an enthusiastic group of about 40 women, in which all ages are represented.
In addition to barbershop songs, we sing jazzy songs, close harmony and theatrical Dutch cabaret songs.
Marlous Luiten has been our conductor since 2014. Marlous has a lot of experience as a professional singer, actress and theater maker. We have learned a lot from her and we hope you will see that reflected in our performance.
Under her leadership, we became Dutch champion in 2019 at the Holland Harmony convention.
Today we are very happy to sing our songs to you, which we also will perform at the convention in the Netherlands in March 2023 to defend our title.
