SWITCH
We are quartet SWITCH from Zwijndrecht in the Netherlands. We are together for 5 years and we rehearse every Thursday with great enthusiasm. We sing barbershop songs but we also like to sing in Dutch and close harmony. Vanessa sings the lead part, Edith the bass part, Josefine the bari part and Margot the tenor part.
We are all members of Vocal Group Route Sixteen. Edith also sings with the choir Building Bridges. There she sings the lead part. Vanessa sings lead in the quartet and by Route Sixteen she sings bari. Enough challenge and “SWITCHing” in our quartet.
Our love for music creates connection. It is important for us to share love, sorrow, and joy. And this can all be brought together in performing music.
We enjoy to participate in the Dutch convention every two years, so also in March 2023. Here in this beautiful Ireland we are curious how our convention songs will be received by the jury and the public. We are very excited to be here and to sing for you all
