The Vimtones
We're The Vimtones - a mixed youth barbershop quartet based in the UK and formed within MUBS, with
Abi Owen as tenor, Nathan Rose as lead, Dylan Gunasekera as baritone, and Blake Pehrson as bass.
Our name combines two elements:
Vim - energy; enthusiasm.
Tone - a musical or vocal sound with reference to its pitch, quality, and strength.
Smash the two together and you get The Vimtones!
The name is also a small nod to the Vimto drink, as it originated in Manchester and so did our quartet!
