Vivacity Quartet
Between us we have one grandchild, six dogs, two horses, nine chickens and arooster! One of Mary's labradors, Rua, loves to sing along with us at rehearsals-she especially likes ballads! Our tenor (Sarah) and lead (Caitlin) are motherand daughter. Our lower three parts have the same star sign (Taurus) and have birthdays within two weeks of each other-tenor is a Gemini. We have been together almost two years and have competed at Sweet Adelines Region 31 twice. In 2023 we came 6th and earlier this year we came away with 4th place medals! We competed in Spain at BIBA in April and placed 5th in the International competition. Mary (bari) is chorus pitch blower (and is Irish!) and also Assistant Director at Viva Acappella, and Karen (whose husband is Irish!) is Vice President of Viva Acappella. Mary and Karen have sung at International with Viva Acappella in Hawaii, Las Vegas and New Orleans, and Mary was in Nashville and Houston with Surrey Harmony back in the day. Sarah was an Ooterwith Viva in New Orleans and sang with Vocal Dimension in Harmony Classic in Baltimore and Las Vegas (two silver medals). Caitlin loves travelling and really wants to go to International!!!! We love being together, singing, laughing and eating!
