Champagne Cork
Champagne Cork is a ladies Barbershop Chorus based as the name suggests, in the south of Ireland, in Cork. We rehearse every Wednesday night in Gaelscoil Uí Ríordáin in Ballincollig. Champagne Cork was established in 1996 by Clare Hunt and is currently under the direction of Ursula Mulvihill.
We are a vibrant, fun loving, caring, vocal ensemble who are passionate about the art of barbershop singing. We are always open to new members and we were delighted to achieve an award at IABS 2022 Convention for the chorus with the most new members. We share a strong camaraderie, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment. Our repertoire includes a mix of traditional barbershop classics and contemporary arrangements.
We are looking forward to meeting our wider barbershop family at this year’s convention in Killarney.
