Champagne Cork
Champagne Cork is a ladies Barbershop Chorus based as the name suggests, in the south of Ireland, in Cork. We rehearse every Wednesday night in Gaelscoil Uí Ríordáinin Ballincollig. Champagne Cork was established in 1996 by Clare Hunt and is currently under the direction of Ursula Mulvihill. Champagne Cork is all about fun, friendship and the thrill of harmonising together. We were delighted to receive a bronze medal at IABS in 2023 and we are really looking forward to competing again this year. We competed in our first International competition at En Armonia - BIBA 2024 earlier this year and what a great bonding experience that was for us.
In Champagne Cork we share a strong camaraderie, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment. We are always open to new members. Whether you are an experienced singer or a beginner, you will find a supportive and friendly environment where you can grow and have fun. Our repertoire includes a mix of traditional barbershop classics and contemporary arrangements. We are looking forward to meeting our wider barbershop family again at this year’s convention in Killarney and developing new friendships.
