Lady Barbalade
Ailbhe, Clare, Becky and Hilary are Lady Barbalade.
The quartet was originally formed from members of the award winning Enchiriadis Chamber Choir in 2015 and welcomed Ailbhe as their new bass in 2019.
Lady Barbalade have represented IABS as guests and competitors at Sweet Adelines Region 31, the Ladies Association of British Barbershop Singers, European Barbershop Championships and BHS International in Louisville 2023. More recently Lady Barbalade competed at BIBA and were proud to win silver in the international competition.
The ladies love to sing Barbershop and to bring their own brand of silly, sassy humour to everything that they do. They also enjoy spreading the Barbershop joy by participating in education events, directing choruses and coaching new quartets.
