Munster Mix

In the winter of 2018, just seven people met at the Munster Arms Hotel in Bandon. They agreed to try for a mixed chorus, under the leadership of Cherry Hartshorn. Within a couple of weeks word got around and numbers grew quickly, new songs were chosen and the journey had begun.  Munster Mix has a membership drawn from the Munster region and is a mixed chorus. Their repertoire is primarily Popular, Jazz, Gospel, musical theatre and the American song book........ always acapella, they have quickly established themselves with highly acclaimed performances in New Ross for AIMS, and achieving the highly prestigious Gold medal in IABS at only their second attempt! Travels to Spain have seen Munster Mix taking their unique blend of singing, musical entertainment and friendship out into the wider community.  Recently they have achieved fantastic success with two Christmas concerts raising over €7,000 for local charities.
​Cherry Hartshorn, the Chorus Director, continues to take Munster Mix to greater things with new songs and opportunities throughout their home in West Cork.
